In the end of 2022 ORKLA group Bisquits and Wafers Production plant in Adaži was put into operation. The new, more than 30,000 m2 production plant with 13 production lines will be the largest production plant of its kind in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
Biant carried out the installation of the air conditioning and technological cooling systems for the new production plant. The total cooling capacity of the installed equipment is more than 8.0 MW. The chillers are equipped with high-efficiency screw compressors, continuous modulation of the cooling capacity, the function of "free cooling" and hot water production, which allows significantly reduce the energy consumption during the production processes.
